Today’s Scripture
When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Matthew 8:1-3
Today’s Thought
The leper's question reveals humanity's deepest struggle: "I know you can, but will you?" Like this leper, we often doubt not God's power, but His willingness to act in our lives. Jesus' immediate response—"I will"—settles this question forever. God is not withholding anything from you. His character doesn't change based on your performance. The challenge isn't twisting God's arm to get Him to act; it's believing He's already willing. Today, stop disqualifying yourself based on past failures or present struggles. God's willingness flows from His character, not your worthiness. Whatever you're facing, know this: God is willing to intervene in your life right now.
Today’s Reflection
What area of your life have you questioned God's willingness to help? Write it down and declare, "God is willing."
