Today’s Scripture

I remind you, fathers and mothers: you have a relationship with the One who has existed from the beginning. And I remind you, young people: you have defeated the Evil One. I write these things to you, dear children, because you truly have a relationship with the Father. I write these things, fathers and mothers, because you have had a true relationship with him who is from the beginning. And I write these things, young people, because you are strong, the Word of God is treasured in your hearts, and you have defeated the Evil One. 1 John 2:13-14

Your strength is found in treasuring up the Word of God in your heart; it's the power that defeats the evil one. Take time today to meditate in the Word and plant it firmly in your heart.

Today’s Confession

Lord, thank You for the strength found in Your Word. Help me to treasure it in my heart, meditating on it daily, so that I may stand strong and defeat the enemy’s lies with the power of Your truth.
