Today’s Scripture

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

— 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

— Galatians 2:20 (NKJV)

Today’s Thought

Jesus didn’t just die for you; He died as you. At the cross, God treated Jesus like He would have had to treat you. He put all your sin, guilt, and judgment on Christ so He could put all of Christ’s righteousness, favor, and acceptance on you. God does not see two people standing before Him—Jesus righteous and you barely tolerated. He sees you *in* Christ, clothed with His righteousness. You aren’t trying to earn a position; you’ve been given one. This changes how you pray, how you repent, and how you see yourself. You do not crawl to God as a condemned sinner—you come as the righteousness of God in Christ.

Today’s Confession

Jesus died as me and for me. He became sin so I could become the righteousness of God in Him. I am not trying to get righteous; I have been made righteous in Christ. I live this day by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
