Today’s Scripture

"And when you come before God, don't turn that into a theatrical production either. All these people, making a regular show out of their prayers, hoping for stardom! Do you think God sits in a box seat? Here's what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won't be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense His grace. The world is full of so-called prayer warriors who are prayer-ignorant. They're full of formulas and programs and advice, pedaling techniques for getting what you want from God."

Matthew 6:5-7

Today’s Thought

Remember to pray scriptural prayers and be ready when you go into prayer with your total attention on God. Stay quiet, keep it simple, honest, and heartfelt without repetition. Pray and believe you receive when you pray, and thank God thereafter for the answer!

Today’s Confession

Father God, thank You for teaching me to pray with simplicity and sincerity. I commit to coming before You with honesty—not performance—trusting Your presence will meet me. According to Your Word, I believe I receive what I ask in prayer, and I continue to thank You for it in faith.
