Today’s Scriptures

My old identity has been co-crucified with Messiah and no longer lives; for the nails of his cross crucified me with him. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one!

Galatians 2:20 TPT

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV

Today’s Thought

Your past may be part of your story, but it no longer has permission to name you. Jesus did not come to repair the old you; He made you brand new. The old identity was crucified with Christ, and now your life is found in Him.

Refocusing means you stop introducing your future to an identity Jesus already buried. You are not who your mistakes say you are. You are not who your feelings say you are. You are who Christ says you are.

Today’s Question

What old label, failure, or past identity have you been allowing to define you? Today, choose to agree with God: “I am a new creation in Christ.”
