Today’s Scriptures

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Colossians 3:1–3 KJV

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 2:6 KJV

Today’s Thought

Refocusing means remembering where you are seated. You are not under your circumstances; you are seated with Christ. You are not buried beneath fear, pressure, lack, or confusion; your life is hidden with Christ in God. When your mind is consumed with earthly pressure, your focus gets blurry. But when you set your affection on things above, you begin to see life from your position in Christ instead of your problem in the earth.

Today’s Question

What situation has been taking too much of your mind space? Pause today and ask, “Am I seeing this from earth’s perspective or from my position in Christ?”
