Today’s Scriptures

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

Christ's life showed me how, and enabled me to do it. I identified myself completely with him. Indeed, I have been crucified with Christ.

Galatians 2:20 MSG

Today’s Thought

You are not who your past says you are. You are not who your mistakes say you are. You are not even who your old mindset says you are. If you are in Christ, God sees you through Jesus. Your old life is not your identity anymore; it is part of your testimony. The great “I Am” has created a new “I am” in you. Refocusing begins when you stop identifying with Adam—fallen, limited, and broken—and start identifying with Christ—redeemed, righteous, and made new.

Today’s Confession

I am in Christ. I am a new creature. Old things are passed away, and all things are become new. My past is not my identity. Jesus is my identity.
