Today’s Scriptures  

And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.

And he said, Certainly I will be with thee.

Today’s Thought  

God did not change Moses’ potential. He changed Moses’ perspective. Moses saw himself as a failure, a fugitive, and a man with limitations. God saw a deliverer. The potential was already there, but Moses had to stop looking through the lens of his past. God had to refocus him. The rod in Moses’ hand looked ordinary, but when surrendered to God, it became part of the miracle.

Many times, what God wants to use is already in your hand. The gift is there. The calling is there. The purpose is there. But your perspective has to change. You have to stop seeing yourself through failure and start seeing yourself through God’s assignment.

What has God already placed in your hand that you have been calling “not enough”? Ask Him to help you see it from His perspective.
