Today’s Scriptures

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

John 16:23-24 KJV

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

1 Timothy 2:5 KJV

Today’s Thought

Prayer has order. We come to the Father in the name of Jesus. Jesus is not a religious add-on to our prayers; He is our mediator, our access, and our authority.

When you pray in the name of Jesus, you are not coming based on your perfection, performance, or worthiness. You are coming based on His finished work. That should make you bold. You are not trying to convince God to listen; you are approaching Him through the One He already sent.

Today’s Confession

Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. My confidence is not in myself, but in Christ. I believe You hear me, and I receive what You have promised in Your Word.
