Today’s Scriptures

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Psalm 100:4 KJV

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Matthew 6:9-10 KJV

Today’s Thought

Prayer is not just about asking; it is also about posture. Jesus taught us to begin with reverence: “Our Father… Hallowed be thy name.” The Psalms teach us to enter with thanksgiving and praise.

Thanksgiving positions your heart. Praise reminds you who you are talking to. You are not casually approaching someone powerless. You are coming before the King. When you begin prayer with honor, gratitude, and worship, your heart becomes aware of His presence and His greatness.

Today’s Challenge

Before you ask God for anything today, spend a few moments thanking Him. Praise Him for who He is, honor Him as Father, and let gratitude lead you into prayer.
