Today’s Scriptures
Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
Proverbs 13:12 KJV
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16 KJV
Today’s Thought
Sometimes people stop praying because disappointment has made their hearts tired. Maybe you prayed and did not see what you hoped for. Maybe you were believing, but things did not turn out the way you expected. Hope deferred can make the heart sick, but God still invites you to come boldly.
Don’t let pain silence your prayer life. Bring your questions, your disappointment, and even your frustration into His presence. God is not afraid of your honesty. He is ready to meet you with mercy and grace.
You may not understand everything, but you do not have to walk alone. Pick prayer back up again.
Today’s Question
Have disappointment, delay, or unanswered questions caused you to pull back from prayer? Today, be honest with God, and take one step back into His presence.
