Today’s Scriptures

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Mark 11:24 KJV

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

Hebrews 10:35 KJV

Today’s Thought

Jesus did not say, “Believe after you see it.” He said, “When ye pray, believe that ye receive.” That means faith takes hold of the answer before circumstances show evidence of change.

Many times, we pray, look around, see nothing different, and then pray the same thing again out of fear instead of faith. But real confidence says, “I believed I received when I prayed, so now I move into thanksgiving.”

Your circumstances are not the proof of God’s faithfulness. His Word is the proof.

Today’s Challenge

Take one thing you have been praying about repeatedly. Instead of praying from anxiety today, thank God that He heard you, and declare by faith that you receive what He promised.
