Balance

As you know, I have been faithfully consistent in my workout plan over the past 7 months. I have made sure to do my three (or more) workouts a week. No matter what!

When my schedule is hectic, I rearrange things to make sure I don’t miss. If I’m out of town, I’m still up at the crack of dawn and in the gym. If I don’t have what I need, I modify and make it work. If I’m struggling, I push through anyways.

I don’t always follow my eating plan, (don’t read this @donald.strange) but I’m super strict with my workouts. They have become a non- negotiable discipline in my life. And that is a good thing.

I started thinking though, about all the other areas in my life where I’m not so disciplined. It’s great that I’m making sure to get my workouts in, but I let a lot of other things slide. I’m out of balance. I realize I need to put that same effort into making sure the rest of my life is disciplined too.

I’m not working to just be physically healthy. I want to be completely well rounded, and healthy in every way! I need to get some balance and work on some other things to reach that goal!

I’m making a decision to apply the same determination, and no excuses resolve to those places that are out of balance. I’ll let you know how it goes!
