Don't Give Up, Change It Up
In my journey to get healthy, I’m learning a lot of valuable lessons!
I HATE mountain climbers. Always have. I don’t know why, there are way worse exercises, like burpees. Maybe it’s psychological, but when I see mountain climbers on my workout plan I immediately tense up.
The past couple of weeks I have struggled with the mountain climbers in my Monday workout. They are one of the last exercises in the set, by that point I am a sweaty mess, my hands slip all over the mat and I can’t seem to keep my balance.
Today after the second round of mountain climbers I decided to change it up. I moved off the mat.
My hands didn’t slip, and I did all the mountain climbers without any problems.
Sometimes the obstacle isn’t what you think it is.
The mountain climbers weren’t the problem, it was the way I was doing them.
So, what obstacle is tripping you up today? Maybe you should take another look at it and see if there is something you should change up.
Don’t give up just because it’s difficult. Change your mindset, and win the day!
