No Excuses
My regularly scheduled workouts are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, usually first thing in the morning.
Last week and this upcoming week my schedule is a little crazier than normal and that wasn’t gonna be possible.
In past seasons, I probably would’ve used that as an excuse to skip them altogether.
You may have heard the saying, “If you want something you’ll make a way, otherwise you’ll make an excuse!”
So instead of passing on the workouts and picking them back up in a couple of weeks… or months… I did something different.
I rearranged some things. That meant I didn’t get to sleep in on Saturday, instead of a Sunday afternoon nap, I picked up the weights, and instead of relaxing tomorrow night when I get home from a long day, I’ll be out in the garage sweating it up.
It’s not the most convenient for me, but it’s the best choice. I’m done making excuses!
Remember- Excuses turn into obstacles that derail you from reaching your goal.
Instead of making excuse, make a way to accomplish whatever you have your sight set on!
