Consistency is Key
Last week I went on vacation with my family. A week at an all inclusive resort in Mexico gave me all the reasons to lighten up on my training plan. But I didn’t. I stuck to the plan for the most part, except for that gelato every day! (And the mashed potatoes)
I got all my workouts in and mostly did what I was supposed to do.
I stayed consistent despite the temptation to over indulge and under perform. Until the last day when I didn’t do anything I was supposed to do. And that’s ok too, because when I got home I went right back to it!
Consistency is the key to discipline. Just keep showing up, keep making steps big or small, and if you take a day off, or take a step back, just get up the next day and get right back to it!
Stay consistent and do what you know to do, and win the day!
