Unknown Challenges

I was recently on a trip out of the country. But that didn’t stop my workout routine! In fact, the beautiful views gave me extra motivation.

There was problem though. All of the measurements were in kilos instead of pounds. I know exactly what to do in my garage. I know how much weight to add… in pounds.

At first I tried to guess. I had been using 20 pound dumbbells for one of my exercises, so I figured 10 kilos was 20 pounds. Wrong. 9 kilos is 20 pounds and believe it or not, that extra kilo made a huge difference!

So I went on Google and actually calculated the weight I needed for each exercise. It took a couple of extra minutes in the beginning, but it made the rest of my workout go seamlessly.

Sometimes you will face things that are unfamiliar to you, that challenge you in different ways. Instead of guessing and just trying to figure it out,  try to relate it to something you do know. Use that as a guide to help navigate the situation.

There will be times that you have nothing to relate that challenge to. In those situations find someone who knows what you are experiencing and ask for help!

Make it a great week!
